This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Procurement Officer. The primary purpose of this position is to perform developmental assignments providing limited analyses and evaluations in support of acquisition program operations. This position may be filled at the GS-07, promotion to the GS-09 level may occur without further competition. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Analyst (Pathways Recent Graduates), GS-0343-7, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision: Decide the appropriateness of minor deviations within existing guidelines.
- →Use judgment in selecting and applying the most appropriate guidelines and references.
- →Assist with conforming to established practices and prescribed procedures.
- →All DHS-HQ announcements have a 5-business day open period due to the number of applications received.

Requirements
- ✓Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications; applicant's resumes and supporting documentation should only reflect education received from schools accredited by such institutions.
