About the Role

This position is located within the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Secure Transportation (OST), Engineering Systems and Technology Division (ESTD), Command & Control, Communications, Computers & Cyber Security Branch (C5B), Oak Ridge, TN, serving as a Program Analyst, responsible for oversight of the C5B programs.

What You'll Do

  • As a Program Analyst (Secondary), you will: Apply a wide range of methods in the application of program analysis, principles, practices and methodologies to plan, assess and evaluate the C5B programs.
  • Leads the development, execution, and evaluation of program objectives with respect to communications systems by gathering mission equipment requirements and evaluation of new technologies and modifications of existing systems.
  • Responsible for performing acceptance testing and evaluation on systems components and equipment for effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Responsible for conducting trends analysis and forecasting system requirements to present results and recommendations to program officials.
  • Ensures documentation for new systems/technology deployment is maintained.
  • Incumbent identifies, analyzes and evaluates major aspects of the program to provide long range program goals and objectives for future Escort Vehicles and Tractor modifications, deployment schedules of new vehicles, and information technology systems for Mission Operations (OMO) vehicles

Requirements

  • Subject to Random Drug Testing Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Favorable suitability determination required.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a Q level Security Clearance.
  • You must be a United States Citizen.

  • Trial periods served in the same position and agency with no break in service will satisfy the requirement.
