About the Role
This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Inspections Division (IN), Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), Integrity Analysis and Support Staff (OPRI). This position(s) primary purpose, in a developmental capacity, is to serve as an analyst conducting research, applying analytical logic, and supporting the case management portfolio.
What You'll Do
- →As a your typical work assignments may include: Planning, developing, and conducting internal review studies of related line functions and/or programs with technically complex characteristics.
- →Researching and preparing responses to Freedom of Information requests; and researching and reporting on matters of discovery for trial/hearing proceedings.
- →Under the guidance of senior specialists, evaluating the conformance of programs and program actions to available guides, such as pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents that affect the use of program and related resources.
- →Researching and/or analyzing unstable or uncommon administrative and/or program issues, determining pertinent issues.
- →Preparing various memoranda, letters, and teletypes for the signature a range of employees within the office.
