You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Guidance Division, Office of Grants Management and Guidance, Office of Program Management, within the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA). As a Program Analyst, the incumbent will perform grant and program management functions; analyze complex laws, regulations and legislation; and provide consistent guidance to stakeholders regarding FTA grants and cooperative agreements.
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Analyst, you will: Provide Headquarters (HQ) and regional staff with accurate and timely guidance on the interpretation and application of transportation laws and policies and OMB Uniform Guidance related to pre- and post-award requirements affecting FTA grants and cooperative agreements.
- →Develop and implement FTA grant and cooperative agreement management policies, directives, regulations, and guidance in support of legislative initiatives and Administration mandates.
- →Provide HQ and regional staff with training on grants management requirements, including OMB Uniform Guidance Cost Principles and applicable transportation laws and policies.
- →The ideal candidate has knowledge of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Uniform Guidance, federal grants management, and applicable transportation laws and policies.
- →The candidate demonstrates strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations, develop clear guidance and training, and provide consistent technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
- →Experience developing grantguidance, training materials, and administrative tools to support effective grants management is highly desirable.
Requirements
