The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) level Program Analyst, applying Air Force experience, to plan, organize, and determine necessary policies, directives, instructions, programs, and procedures for the establishment and maintenance of assigned major command program(s).
What You'll Do
- →Analyzes and evaluates AFMC programs as it relates to Air Force and Major Command strategic plans, programming guidance, and Program Objective Memorandum preparation instructions.
- →Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force and Major Command requirements.
- →Actively participates in program planning to provide guidance involving process, products, and schedules.
- →Conducts research, identifies, and analyzes trends in the use of funds, and evaluates the effects of continuing changes in program plans and funding.
- →Utilized financial/programming data systems to retrieve, process, and synthesize information, generates reports to support analysis, and documents requirements for additional system capabilities.
