This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Strategy, Policy and Plans (PLCY), Office of International Affairs (OIA). The primary purpose of this position is to support administrative OIA mission priorities. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Analyst, GS-0343-13, your typical work assignments may include: Develops, evaluates, and oversees policies in assigned program areas, takes necessary actions to achieve organizational objectives and recommends program objectives and improvements for the future.
- →Works with DHS operational components, Department of State and other Interagency partners to ensure DHS' full integration into US Missions abroad.
- →Coordinates activities of staff, advises, and provides analytical support for three broad functions: 1) Administration of DHS's Attaché and Dual-Hat Attaché Programs. 2) Intra-agency Liaison with DHS Components' offices of international affairs and various Bureaus of the Department of State; and 3) International Governance (e.g. administrative programs, policy and process).
