The position is located in the Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT), Office of Programs (CT/P). CT/P is responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing foreign assistance programs to develop law enforcement capacity to counter terrorism across the globe.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Bureau of Counterterrorism's (CT) counterterrorism capacity for building programs and countering violent extremism programs.
- →Performs a wide range of program management, policy coordination, advisory, problem solving, and oversight duties for CT programs.
- →Serves as Grants/Contracts/Agreements Officer Representative and Government Agreement Monitor to ensure federal government oversight of active foreign assistance programs.
- →Serves in a liaison capacity with other Bureaus and agencies on specific issues related to CT portfolios and programs.
- →Provides oversight of contract employees in Washington and at select U.S.
- →Embassies overseas that provide support to CT programs in their portfolio.
