About the Position: This position is assigned to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy (DASD (MC&FP), Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness (USD (P&R)). This position may be eligible for situational telework as determined by the agency policy.
What You'll Do
- →Assist in evaluating and analyzing a broad range of data, research, programs, and metrics addressing the needs and challenges of service members and their families.
- →Work closely with multiple stakeholders across the DoD to ensure accurate collection and representation of data across the aforementioned programs.
- →Identify process improvement areas for data and/or research.
- →Inform leadership of potential program improvements while taking into consideration Executive Orders, directives, and regulations.
- →Serve as a subject matter expert regarding data collection, research, and evaluation on multiple programs with a specific focus on applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques concerning the effectiveness of program operations.
- →Work with data files across numerous programs to conduct statistical and informational analysis.
