The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Headquarters Air Force SR program analyst for navigation aids, surveillance/sensors, Air Traffic Control and Command & Control communications capabilities. Apply Air Force military experience to plan, organize policies, directives, and procedures for the establishment & maintenance of certain assigned programs.
What You'll Do
- →Applying Air Force military experience and expert knowledge of the maintenance and operation of communications systems and radios, navigation aids (NAVAIDS), and radar/surveillance systems, analyzes, develops, and evaluates detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned USAF, DoD and multi-departmental programs and projects.
- →Using AF military experience, actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
- →Documents planning and programming decisions in appropriate formats to meet Air Force requirements.
- →Identifies non-standard or emerging operational requirements, assesses impact on assigned programs, and develops recommendations.
- →Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions with Air Force, sister services, FAA, and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to secure cooperation, resolve controversial issues, and convey information relative to proposed changes in assigned program(s).
