About the Role
You will serve as a PRODUCTIONS CONTROLLER (SHIPS) in the CONVERSION AND REPAIR DEPARTMENT of SUPSHIP.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for all advanced planning functions as necessary to prepare for a scheduled complex overhaul.
- →You will be responsible for contract review and evaluation, work specification development, performance of shipcheck, developing pre-arrival work packages.
- →You will be responsible for defining, initiating and coordinating the acquisition of all overhaul support facilities.
- →You will serve as the central SUPSHIPNN point of contact on matters pertaining to assigned areas of the overhaul project.
- →You will maintain liaison with customers, ship's force, SUPSHIPNN functional departments, and the contractor.
- →You will act as the business agent for SUPSHIPNN with other command/activities on assigned carrier overhaul projects.
- →You will act as the financial manager for overhaul funding and assures that funds are adequately and timely provided to prevent impact to the work.
- →You will review and adjust estimates provided to each customer to ensure adequate balance of funds are maintained to cover authorized work.
- →You will review proposed changes to overhaul work packages for technical accuracy.
