What You'll Do
- →You will coordinate monitor and expedite the efforts of the SUPSHIP office and supporting NAVSEA activities throughout the ship construction period focusing on events necessary to assume timely ship delivery.
- →You will monitor the development and installation of the ship's systems, testing of these systems, readiness of the systems for certification and delivery.
- →You will monitor and evaluate the planning, conduct of tests and trials, installation, testing, and sea trials.
- →You will monitor the activities and problems confronting shipbuilder and SUPSHIP Gulf Coast departments by conducting regular conferences and establishing a reporting system to keep Code 154 and others informed of ship status and associated issues.
- →You will review engineering change proposals, requests for waivers, requests for deviations and specification change notices.
- →You will provide quality assurance expertise regarding the effect that proposed changes may have on the configuration, production schedules performance, cost, etc.
