This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned and operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813.
What You'll Do
- →Prepares work orders based on manufacturing schedules developed to meet customer requirements for production, research and development, commercial and support mission items.
- →Compiles work to be accomplished by contract in coordination with the planning and procurement organizations.
- →Schedules workload into shops and support areas for assigned production items.
- →Reviews requirements on master schedules using a material resource planning software.
- →Manages multiple drawing number line items and production programs setting production and shipment schedules.
- →Coordinates with Contracting Officer on solutions to problems in connection with contract awards and deliveries.
- →Coordinates with Supply Division and the Planning Group to execute production and projects.
