About the Role
This PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT) position, is located in an Army Aviation Classification Repair Activity Depot (AVCRAD) Production Control Division and is part of the CA 1106 TASMG.
What You'll Do
- →THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, TEMPORARY POSITION NOT TO EXCEED 30-SEP-2026 Selectee may be non-competitively extended up to 4 years if/when funding becomes available in accordance with CNG FPH 001.
- →The primary purpose of the PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (AIRCRAFT), GS-1152-9, is to coordinate with shop supervisors, plan, schedule, control, and analyze maintenance performed on assigned aircraft and associated equipment.
- →Serves as the focal point for compilation and application of production data and coordination of maintenance and repair operations.
- →May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
Requirements
- ✓CALIFORNIA NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in the California National Guard.
- ✓Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
- ✓Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

- ✓Military technicians must be assigned to a military position in the same unit which they are employed or, in a unit that is supported by the employing activity.

- ✓AREA I= Current California National Guard employees who are serving on a Permanent/Indefinite/Temporary appointment.
- ✓AREA II= Current California National Guard members and employees.
- ✓Military Grades: E-4 through E-6 Recruitment/Relocation Recruitment/Relocation Incentive IS NOT authorized.
- ✓PCS Relocation Costs IS NOT authorized based on determination that Permanent Change of Station (PCS) move is not in the Government best interest.
- ✓Must maintain appropriate level of security clearance.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a one or two year trial period.
- ✓Must wear appropriate military uniform including required grooming standards.
