The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of production planning, scheduling and material technician tasks in direct support of depot maintenance programs/operations. This includes repair, overhaul, manufacture, and/or modification of various weapon systems; combat/strategic fixed wing aircraft, engines, exchangeable, missiles, and major end items.
What You'll Do
- →Duty 1: Researches, analyzes, plans, and initiates job acceptance for programmed/unprogrammed workloads.
- →Duty 2: Manages shop capacity and calculates and establishes shop hours based on workload mixture in systems to control input to maintenance.
- →Duty 3: Monitors multiple shop operations, plans and manages actual production start dates, manages assets in-work, and monitors assets in-queue in support of the organization.
- →Duty 4: Provides material management support to production operations by ordering parts and material.
