About the Role

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do

  • Coordinates and performs a wide variety of tasks in support of the Regional Procurement Office (RPO).
  • Enters and monitors data in procurement files, purchasing system, and contract management system.
  • Purchases items with a purchase card when authorized.
  • Establishes status of actions on numerous procurements, support operations, and mission requirements.
  • Organizes flow of operational processes in the RPO and assists contract specialists and other staff as directed.
  • Reviews and interprets directives and regulations.
  • Maintains official and procurement files, and periodically disposes of records in accordance with official disposition instructions.
  • Advises team on development and implementation of local administrative directives and procedures.
  • Develops internal policies, procedures and work methods affecting administrative operations.
  • Collects, compiles and organizes information and data to meet administrative requirements.
  • Prepares correspondence and drafts instructions.
  • Facilitates methods for automating reports and correspondence.
  • Enforces and trains employees on proper naval correspondence rules.
  • Receives visitors and directs them to appropriate contacts; receives and delivers messages to team; arranges and maintains appointment calendars for team; routes incoming mail to team.
