What You'll Do
- →Coordinates and performs a wide variety of tasks in support of the Regional Procurement Office (RPO).
- →Enters and monitors data in procurement files, purchasing system, and contract management system.
- →Purchases items with a purchase card when authorized.
- →Establishes status of actions on numerous procurements, support operations, and mission requirements.
- →Organizes flow of operational processes in the RPO and assists contract specialists and other staff as directed.
- →Reviews and interprets directives and regulations.
- →Maintains official and procurement files, and periodically disposes of records in accordance with official disposition instructions.
- →Advises team on development and implementation of local administrative directives and procedures.
- →Develops internal policies, procedures and work methods affecting administrative operations.
- →Collects, compiles and organizes information and data to meet administrative requirements.
- →Prepares correspondence and drafts instructions.
- →Facilitates methods for automating reports and correspondence.
- →Enforces and trains employees on proper naval correspondence rules.
- →Receives visitors and directs them to appropriate contacts; receives and delivers messages to team; arranges and maintains appointment calendars for team; routes incoming mail to team.
