This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in Strategy & Oversight Team (NSSS), Contracts & Strategic Sourcing (NSS), Supply Chain Services (NS), Chief Administrative Office (N). A successful candidate in the Procurement Analyst (Purchase Card Coordinator) position will serve as the point of contact and process owner for a major area of supply operations and the purchase card program.
What You'll Do
- →As a Procurement Analyst, you will: Ensure Compliance and Oversee Purchase Card Program: Reviews major purchases to ensure they follow all laws and policies, manages compliance audits, and supports the purchase card (PCard) coordinator role to ensure federal requirements are met.
- →Train and Mentor: Develops training plans and mentors contract specialists to improve their skills and ensure adherence to policies.
- →Analyze and Improve Performance: Measures the supply chain's effectiveness by tracking key metrics, analyzing data, and identifying opportunities to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- →Manage Improvement Projects: Leads projects to implement process and program improvements, which includes managing budgets, teams, and communication plans.
- →Conduct Market Research: Stays informed about the latest technologies, trends, and best practices in supply chain management by engaging with the electrical utility community and other professional associations.
- →Develop Workforce Competencies: Works with the management team to define the skills needed for the workforce and manages training and certification programs.
