As a Process Improvement Analyst, you will be responsible for documenting, improving and mapping tasks that are prime for optimization and automation, or other automation tools, in order to gain efficiencies agency wide. Location of position: Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of Digital Finance, Business Modernization Division We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
What You'll Do
- →Applies established continuous process improvement methods to define, measure, analyze, improve, and control agency business processes.
- →Acts as a management consultant in presenting and advocating the Continuous Process Improvement program to agency managers and staff.
- →Coaches individual managers on using continuous process improvement methods and overcoming obstacles to successful implementation of process improvement systems.
- →Develops and presents training courses on continuous process improvement and the ways in which this approach to business process improvement can strengthen agency performance.
- →Increases awareness of the need for continuous process improvements to establish a competitive advantage.
- →Acts as a change agent providing support to implement major improvements in business operations.
- →Leads projects to apply continuous process improvement methods to standardize and significantly improve Office of the Chief Financial Officer business processes and policies.
- →Provides technical leadership and project direction for ad hoc project teams.
- →Sets goals and technical standards for project team members, anticipates and effectively responds to changes in workload and resources, and influences project team members through an inclusive style and recognition of project team member abilities and knowledge.
- →Prepares and conducts briefings for higher level management to explain Lean Six Sigma analysis, provide recommendations and action plans, and propose guidance and direction for implementation of recommendations.
- →Provides management with timely, accurate and substantive input.
Requirements
