About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) handles the day-to-day operations of Army installations.
What You'll Do
- →Exercise exclusive law enforcement jurisdiction responsible for the, apprehension or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
- →Serve as a police patrol officer enforcing Federal criminal laws and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) involving persons and property.
- →Protect government property, materials and facilities against trespass, theft, fire, damage and espionage.
- →Detain or arrest suspected or guilty persons.
- →Collect and protect evidence, witnesses, victims, etc.
- →Arrest persons committing or suspected of committing crimes on the installation.
- →Patrol assigned area by vehicle or on foot to preserve the peace, prevent crime, and protect lives and property.
