This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve in the Public Health Directorate, Deputy Chief of Staff for Force Health Protection Office of the Surgeon General/US Army Medical Command. Provide medical advice on general Preventive Medicine, and Public Health, or Occupational/Environmental Medicine.
What You'll Do
- →Provide medical advice on General Preventive Medicine and Public Health, or Occupational/Environmental Medicine.
- →Evaluate, recommend, and develop program guidelines and policies.
- →Advise on diagnosis, treatment, and management of illnesses or injuries in individuals and populations.
- →Advise on related issues involving medical toxicology, human factors assumptions, sensitive populations, policy/law, and other public health problems.
