About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at The Walter Reed Internal Medicine department in Bethesda Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Evaluate laboratory and clinical findings, differentiating among the various contributory causes, and prescribes appropriate treatment.
- →Document patient care appropriately.
- →Follow through on cases to ensure effectiveness and alters course of treatment, as indicated.
- →Collaborate with specialists in other areas on cases involving interrelated problems.
- →Support readiness for all active duty and civilian missions by providing primary care to active duty and their family members.
- →Assist soldiers and commanders by performing fitness for duty evaluations, physicals, profiles, and command referrals, as assigned.
- →Contribute to the teaching of medical learners (medical students, residents, and fellows) through presenting and lecturing in the ambulatory and inpatient settings.
- →Guide, instruct and train medical interns in internal medicine, as well as interns in other specialties, in aspects of internal medicine which relate to their area.
