About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic (Pearl Harbor), Island of Oahu, Hawaii. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Physician in the delivery of Family Medicine medical care to all ages of active-duty personnel, their dependents, eligible Service Component Civilian employees and other eligible beneficiaries.
- →Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide multi- disciplinary comprehensive care to all patients.
- →Promote preventative and health maintenance care, stress positive health behaviors and self-care through education and counseling.
- →Develop guidelines and trainings for interns, residents, and other medical staff to follow when carrying out patient care services.
- →Attend and or participate in health care conferences as requested.
