About the Role
About the Position: This position is located with 1st Spec Ops Medical Hurlburt Field, AFB, FL. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the Primary Care Optimization (PCO) team leader providing comprehensive outpatient care to beneficiaries ranging from newborn to geriatric age.
- →Provide medical evaluations for active duty, reserve components, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian, and family member beneficiaries.
- →Order and interpret diagnostic and testing procedures including laboratory and radiological examinations.
- →Coordinate with facility and community resources to provide multi-disciplinary comprehensive care to all patients.
- →Advise other physicians, non-physician providers, and nursing and para-professional staff on the care of patients with urgent, emergent, and non-urgent medical problems.
- →Document clinical encounters and patient instructions into the medical record via current electronic medical record system and prepares clinical narrative summaries.
