About the Role
This position is located within the Phoenix Epidemiology and Clinical Research Branch (PECRB), a program focused on advancing the understanding of type 2 diabetes and obesity.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a principle and/or co-investigator on research projects of broad and complex scope.
- →Collaborate with the Section Chief and Branch Chief in expanding clinical protocols.
- →Provide specialized medical expertise in clinical research.
- →Analyze, evaluate and interpret scientific and clinical data in order to prepare papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at seminars and scientific meetings.
- →Provide directions and recommendations for the establishment, revision or reevaluation of the goals and objectives of research programs.
- →Serve as medical liaison between the Institute/Center and research working groups and committees and between own organization and other NIH programs.
