About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Wainwright, Alaska A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Federal employees in Alaska are currently entitled to receive a 1.49% Cost of Living Allowance (COLA) in addition to the base salary. This is subject to change. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Receive, read, and interpret prescriptions for outpatients written by Medical generalists.
- →Counsel patients regarding their prescribed medications.
- →Dispense pharmaceuticals to outpatients.
- →Compound, prepare, or select and label prescribed drugs and pharmaceuticals from available stocks to provide the required therapeutic agent.
- →Assess equipment and supply needs in coordination with the officer-in-charge and programs purchases within budgetary constraints.
- →Manage, administer, and oversee pharmacy operations within the health clinic.
