About the Role
This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin, Office of Audit. As a Performance Audit Manager, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and executing complex audits, inspections, and evaluations through subordinate professional and administrative staff. The incumbent reports to the Director, Audit or Director, Office of Inspections and Evaluations, and exercises delegated supervisory and technical authority over assigned employees.
What You'll Do

- →Location may be negotiable subject to operational needs and the availability of office space to one of the following locations only: Chamblee, GA; Cincinnati, OH; Fresno, CA; Memphis, TN; Ogden, UT; Washington, DC.
- →Provide leadership and technical oversight to ensure assignments are completed in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, TIGTA policies and procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. - Participate in recruitment, interviewing, selection, promotion, reassignment, and recognition activities.
- →Ensure employee skills and competencies align with assignment requirements.
Requirements
- ✓The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
- ✓One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
