About the Role
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligence's (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
What You'll Do
- →Lead and direct teams in one or more areas of analytic expertise in substantive analytic and management operations; plan, coordinate, and oversee work in a manner consistent with fulfilling organizational directives and accomplishing mission goals.
- →Lead and direct multiple teams in the gathering of political, social, cultural, economic, military, scientific, and historical information in support of US interests and policy objectives; guide teams in the development and identification of highly relevant information from internal and external sources to meet client needs.
- →Develop and maintain working relationships with senior ODNI officials and, as necessary, principals throughout the intelligence and policy communities; identify issues and developments with internal and external peers, communicating regularly to exchange subject information.
- →Lead and manage the IC's analytic input on threats to the Homeland and polar issues.
- →Advise senior ODNI and IC leadership on Homeland and polar issues in support of NIO/AH projects.
- →Establish and manage liaison relationships with academia, the business community, and other non-government subject matter experts to ensure the IC has a comprehensive understanding of Homeland and polar issues.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a current permanent ODNI employee OR must be a current permanent Federal employee with supervisory approval to apply to the Joint Duty Assignment (JDA).
- ✓JDA applicants must be currently at the grade level specified in the advertisement.
- ✓No temporary promotion opportunities will be granted for this position.
- ✓The program does not apply to members of the Military service or contractors.
- ✓Joint Duty applicants may be considered for this position as a reimbursable detailee, if endorsed by the employing agency.
- ✓Joint Duty applicants must have a current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph or have the ability to obtain one.
- ✓The ODNI does not conduct polygraphs or provide security clearances for detailees.
