About the Position: Serves as an ordering technician to purchase supplies and services and perform various related procurement functions in support of a multipurpose, hydroelectric generation facility.
What You'll Do
- →Ensure that proper documentation, justification, authorization and approvals meet local and federal requirements and have complete and correct nomenclature and suggested sources.
- →Place orders through various automated ordering systems.
- →Prepare claims against delivery carrier in the event of damages and/or shortages on shipments of material and equipment.
- →Review and troubleshoot discrepancies in billings.
- →Assure charges are to proper accounts, discounts are taken, and invoices/verification of receipt of items attached.
- →Assist the Contracting Officer Representatives (COR) in the administration of service and supply contracts.
