This position is part of the Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office, Department of Energy. As a Operations Supervisor, you will serves as principal advisor to the Program Manager on all aspects of planning/programing, budget/finance, and administration

- →Veterans shape the future of energy As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead or participate in the following activities on a daily basis: Financial Management: Leading budget formulation, execution, and financial reporting for a multi-million-dollar organization submitting annual budget requests to Congress.
- →Use of DOE funding tracking and execution systems and day-to-day management of spend plans.
- →Leadership over an annual National Laboratory project development process (AOP) and coordination across the National Laboratories to limit stale balances.
- →Procurement and Contract Management: Leverage Level I Contract Officer Representative (COR) certifications to develop performance work statements, independent government cost estimates and negotiate and manage contracted work.
- →Business Operations and Strategy: Developing strategies to improve business efficiency, including the development of operational plans and SOPs.
- →Management of day-to-day office operations and executive correspondence.
- →Advising division leadership on policy, strategic alignment, and program operations to coordinate long-term organizational goals.
- →Represent division leadership in high-level meetings and coordinate responses to congressional, executive, and auditing inquiries to ensure policy compliance.
- →Human Resources: Leading talent management activities with DOE HC and manage fellowship programs and associated budget tracking.
