This position serves as an Operations Specialist with the Directorate of Operations located at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex (RRMC). RRMC is on one of the Nation's premier facilities, providing support to various Department of Defense (DoD) tenants in an all-hazards environment.
What You'll Do
- →Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Develops and executes plans and operations using knowledge of the organizational structures, interrelationships, capabilities and requirements of supported and supporting tenant organizations.
- →Plans, analyzes and recommends actions required to implement operation and contingency plans applicable to the installation.
- →Participates in meetings and briefings with military and civilian officials to provide information on installation activities, daily operations and exercises.
- →Performs duties as the Battle Captain of Operations Officer in the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) during activation for contingency operations and exercises.
- →Provides support to the EOC as an on-call staff member during non-duty hours and 24/7 shift work during activation.
