You will serve as an OPERATIONS ENTERPRISE PORTFOLIO MANAGER (GENERAL ENGINEER) in the ENTERPRISE PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT OFFICE of NAVFAC OSF.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the NAVFAC OPS Enterprise Portfolio Manager to Department of Defense (DoD) Echelon 1 and 2 level commands supported by NAVFAC, to PEOs, and to other commands and stakeholders as assigned.
- →You will document the strategic objectives and the missions, functions, and tasks (MFTs)of supported commands.
- →You will align and translate the organizational strategies of the supported command and NAVFAC into near- and long-term infrastructure plans.
- →You will apply infrastructure engineering principles to translate supported command mission requirements into products and services provided by NAVFAC.
- →You will identify and document shore kill chains for supported command missions.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
