This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Chief Readiness Support Officer, Aviation Integration and Resources. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior advisor and principal operations manager for the Chief Aviation Officer for all Department of Homeland Security aviation activities. Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →As a Operations Director (DHS AIR), GS-0301-15, your typical work assignments may include: Monitoring aviation operations across Department of Homeland Security components.
- →Coordinating aviation support including events, crisis response, and joint operations.
- →Directing operational aspects of the Department of Homeland Security Flight Program Safety Management System.
