The Office of Information Technology is seeking a Supervisory IT Specialist (Network and Data Center Branch Chief). As Branch Chief, you will lead SEC enterprise network and data center operations, ensuring reliability, security, modernization, incident response, and COOP/DR readiness while managing staff and major IT infrastructure programs.
What You'll Do
- →In this role as a Network and Data Center Branch Chief, you will be responsible for: Overseeing enterprise network and data center operations to ensure reliability and performance.
- →Leading implementation of modernization initiatives, including hardware refresh and technology upgrades.
- →Directing incident management and conducting root-cause analyses to drive service improvements.
- →Managing security controls and ensuring protection of network and data center infrastructure.
- →Coordinating COOP and Disaster Recovery exercises and tracking corrective actions.
- →Supervising technical staff and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
- →Planning and executing infrastructure service work and operational maintenance activities.
