Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Multi-Species Conservation Program Manager (MSCP). You can make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment. Duty Location: Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Basin Region, Multi-Species Conservation Program Office, Boulder City, NV. Full time telework or remote work NOT available.
What You'll Do
- →Develops annual work plan that is reviewed and approved by the Steering Committee (consisting of more than 50 entities) and receives concurrence from the US Fish and Wildlife Service.
- →The work plan documents environmental compliance and details all program implementation activities for the following year (e.g., fish augmentation, creation and management of habitat, monitoring and research, land purchase) to identify opportunities to purchase or secure land and water to be used for program implementation.
- →Responsible and accountable for control of funds management within specific delegations of authority and applicable laws and regulations.
- →Represents the Office and the Bureau of Reclamation in meetings, hearing, presentations, and conferences to present, justify, and defend those programs and projects and to negotiate and settle matters involving significant or controversial issues.
- →Supervises through subordinate supervisors, the activities of the Office.
