About the Position: This is a military technician position with the 63rd Readiness Division, Equipment Concentration Site 170 located at Fort Hunter Liggett, CA This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. What You'll Do
- →Plans weekly and monthly work schedules and sequence of operations for subordinates.
- →Establish deadlines and priorities based of work schedules and policies established by higher levels of supervision.
- →Explain work requirements, methods, and procedures; instruct subordinates in the new procedures; and provide advice when problems arise.
- →Review in-progress and completed work for adequate quantity and quality.
- →Investigate work related productivity problems and identify corrective actions that can be implemented for improvement.
- →Identify employee training needs and initiate recommendations to provide necessary training.
- →Develop performance standards; counsel employees on performance; make formal and informal performance appraisals.
- →Interview candidates for vacancies and recommend selections.
- →Maintain production reports and records.
- →Operate the full range of gasoline and diesel powered vehicles.
- →Perform operator’s maintenance on all vehicles in accordance with established rules and regulations.
