About the Role
This position is located at the Ft Peck Service Unit, in the Transportation Office, under the Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) Department. The purpose of this position is to function as the Transportation Supervisor for The Ft Peck Service Unit in Poplar, MT. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Supervises Motor Vehicle Operators.
- →Approves leave and timecards, prepares schedules and initiates any other personnel action.
- →Schedules and dispatches motor vehicles for transportation of patients, staff and material to and from Service Unit.
- →Ensures all GSA vehicles are properly maintained.
- →Orders supplies for Vehicles and housekeeping.
- →Ensures all hospital, clinic, and dental areas are cleaned and kept up to accreditation rules and regulations.
Requirements
- ✓Selectee may be subject to a probationary period ESEP appointees typically serve a two year trial period U.S.
- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
- ✓Due to this requirement, the agency must ensure that persons hired for these positions have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes.
- ✓A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required upon selection/placement.
- ✓Physical Demands: The work involves walking, sitting, standing, reaching and bending in the assessment and treatment of patients.

- ✓This is a Testing Designated Position.
- ✓Incumbent must submit to and successfully pass a urinalysis drug screening prior to appointment.
- ✓The Incumbent will also be subject to unannounced random drug testing for the duration of their time in this position.
- ✓Appointment to the position will be contingent upon a negative applicant drug test result and be subject to random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident drug testing upon hiring.
- ✓Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.
- ✓A background investigation is a standard process used by the Federal Government to verify an individual's identity, employment history, education, and other relevant information to determine suitability for Federal service.
