About the Position: This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation **Preferred**- National Medical Laboratory Technician Certification
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of clinical laboratory procedures.
- →Perform phlebotomy techniques on patients.
- →Prepare phlebotomy site for proper specimen collection.
- →Complete the proper forms and labels for the specimen.
- →Greet and screen patients at the Laboratory Reception Desk.
- →Ensure proper disposal of contaminated waste, needles and general paper trash.
