About the Position: This position is located in the Sterile Processing Department at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, Colorado. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Inspect reusable medical supplies and/or instruments for damage.
- →Monitor operation of sterilizer with prescribed tests.
- →Prepare contaminated surgical items for sterilization procedures.
- →Determine type of medical tray/set needed based on clinic schedule.
- →Manage records of medical supply inventory to determine reordering need.
- →Conduct equipment testing of surgical instruments to ensure operational efficiency.
Requirements
