This is a Washington Army National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service Unit Technician position: MATERIALS HANDLER SUPERVISOR Location: Washington Unit Training Equipment Site JBLM, Washington 98433 Army National Guard Units Appointment Type: Temporary Promotion, Obligated Indefinite, excepted service Advertised as: ENLISTED/WARRANT OFFICER May be used to fill one or more vacancies. *Ensure you read this announcement in its entirety and complete all application requirements
What You'll Do
- →A WS-6907-6, MATERIALS HANDLER SUPERVISOR: Plans weekly or monthly work schedules and sequence of operations.
- →Establishes deadlines and priorities based on established general schedules, methods and policies.
- →Determines skills, materials and equipment required to do the work.
- →Participates in the initial planning of current and future work schedules and development of budget requests.
- →Provides workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as the scheduling of projected work.
- →Assigns tasks to be performed.
- →Explains work requirements, methods, and procedures.
- →Instructs subordinates on new procedures or methods and provides assistance on difficult or new problem areas.
- →Reviews work in progress or on completion.
- →Makes adjustments as necessary to effectively and economically accomplish the work.
- →Notes and investigates work related problems and independently implements corrective actions which can be taken without affecting work operations controlled by other supervisors.
- →Assures that equipment and materiel is available when needed.
- →Coordinates work with other units.
- →Recommends and participates in the selection of personnel to fill vacancies.
Requirements
- ✓MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Military Grades: E6 - E9, WO1-CW3 Desired Military Assignments: 91,92,94,915, 920, 922, 948 - Applicants need not be assigned to the position or possess the MOS to apply or be considered for selection.
- ✓Must have a valid Washington state and military driver's license.
- ✓You are responsible to maintain awareness of your environmental responsibilities as dictated by legal and regulatory requirements, your organization, and its changing mission.
- ✓Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Degree Required: N/A
