About the Role
You will serve as a Maritime Operations and Intelligence Manager of COMMANDER US NAVAL FORCES EUROPE Capodichino, Italy.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the command’s lead for Maritime Operations Center governance interfacing with other Fleets, Service HQs, Type Commander, and warfighting development centers.
- →You will establish, revise, or review policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff, as necessary to eliminate problems or barriers to mission accomplishment.
- →You will promote team building, implement quality improvements, drive positive change, ensure resource accountability, or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and/or other requirements.
- →You will provide direction and oversight through subordinate supervisors and coordination of operations in all subordinate directorates, including oversight authority to revise long range plans, goals and objectives for work directed.
- →You will act as Executive action agent for policies and procedures established by the command, providing operational advice, direction and oversight to all directorates assigned under the Maritime Operations and Intelligence directorate.
Requirements

- ✓PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ).
- ✓To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.
- ✓ICTAP Applicants: To be considered well-qualified and exercise selection priority as an ICTAP candidate, displaced Federal employees must satisfy all qualification requirements for the position and receive a rating in the highly qualified category (score 85) or higher.
- ✓ICTAP candidates must provide copies of all of the following documentation at the time of application: 1) agency notice; 2) most recent performance appraisal; and 3) most recent SF-50 or notification of personnel action that includes position, grade level, and duty location.
