This position is part of the EDF Office of Energy Dominance Financing, Department of Energy. As a Managing Investment Officer, Hydrocarbons and Fuels Vertical Lead, you will provide financing to American energy and manufacturing projects, including energy generation, transmission, critical minerals, and advanced manufacturing technology projects throughout the United States.
What You'll Do
- →As a Managing Investment Officer, Hydrocarbons and Fuels Vertical Lead, you will: Directs business development and investment strategies to identify, evaluate, and pursue complex energy infrastructure and manufacturing loan opportunities.
- →Conducts comprehensive financial, technical, and market analyses to assess the eligibility, viability, and risk profile of proposed energy projects.
- →Leads cross-functional teams through the underwriting, due diligence, and negotiation phases of loan agreements to ensure adherence to Department of Energy (DOE) standards.
- →Provides first-line supervision to a team of investment professionals, establishing performance goals, managing workflows, and ensuring the development of staff.
- →Acts as a principal point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior DOE leadership, financial institutions, and industry representatives.
- →Oversees the preparation of authoritative project documentation and advises on contract procurement to ensure effective project oversight and compliance.
