This position is located in the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), Executive Office for Immigration Review, U. S. Department of Justice. This position analyzes program operations, information systems, and case management data to improve efficiency, develop reports, support system improvements, and provide recommendations to management. This is a Competitive Service position; additional positions may be filled from this announcement within 90 days of certificate issuance.
What You'll Do
- →The duties and responsibilities for a Management & Program Analyst, GS-0343-12/13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Evaluating program operations and information systems to identify opportunities that improve efficiency, productivity, and case management.
- →Defining information system requirements and evaluates system parameters to support development and testing activities.
- →Developing automated reports from case management databases to support operational assessments and management decisions.
- →Analyzing complex data to produce quantitative and qualitative findings that address program performance and procedural issues.
- →Monitoring case management and production data to ensure reports are accurate, consistent, and issued on schedule.
- →Coordinating management studies and system initiatives with information technology staff and other organizational components.
- →Presenting analytical findings and recommendations to management through reports, briefings, and data visualization tools.
