The position is located within VA Connecticut Healthcare System, is one of five CSP coordinating centers and provides leadership and support for multicenter clinical trials. WH-CSPCC supports research activities through data management, information management, study coordination, quality management, regulatory support, communications, and administrative services.
What You'll Do
- →This is a non-bargaining unit position.
- →Duties require extensive use of computers, participation in meetings, and preparation of written materials.
- →Occasional travel may be required.
- →Major Duties: Develops information governance procedures, records management practices, document control processes, and metadata standards to ensure information resources are maintained, secured, and accessible in accordance with applicable requirements.
- →Conducts workflow analyses, organizational assessments, and business process reviews and develops recommendations to improve efficiency, effectiveness, internal controls, communication, and customer service.
- →Leads or participates in special projects involving strategic planning, quality improvement, organizational effectiveness, risk management, and administrative operations.
- →Designs and develops site architecture, navigation structures, workflows, content layouts, and user interaction features for web-based applications and information management systems.
- →Provides administrative and program management support to Center leadership.
