Learn more about this authority at: Direct Hire Authority This Management & Program Analyst (Wildland Fire - Incident Business) position is with the US Wildland Fire Service, GS-0343-13, and can be filled at one of the listed duty locations. What You'll Do

  • →As a Management and Program Analyst (Wildland Fire - Incident Business) your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Develops project charters, plans, schedules, and governance routines; monitors progress; resolves issues; and implements corrective actions to maintain alignment with objectives, schedule, and resource constraints.
  • →Conducts analyses of proposed program changes, including impacts of legislative and regulatory requirements, long-range goals, resource needs, and stakeholder impacts, and incident business.
  • →Applies qualitative and quantitative methods to analyze program and business data included budget and financial management.
  • →Conducts comprehensive reviews of wildland fire program business processes and internal controls; identifies gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities; and develops recommendations to strengthen standardization, accountability, and cost effectiveness.
  • →Prepares and delivers briefings, executive summaries, decision memoranda, and presentations that translate complex analyses into clear recommendations for leaders.

  • ✓Suitability for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.
