This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for providing integration of complex staff actions and security functions and services to facilitate effective management across the Directorate and subordinate divisions and offices, and multiple general officer SES organizations within the J8 and an organization of 300 personnel.
What You'll Do
- →As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include: Coordinating with other outside organizations to include those outside of the joint staff to coordinate and appropriately oversee and manage staff actions to completion.
- →Assigns suspense, tracks status, and coordinates actions to completion with senior military and civilian stakeholders at echelon to provide deliverables and critical updates and detailed reports.
- →Coordinates and tracks all Executive Office correspondence and staff actions.
- →Tasks action offices for response information.
- →Establishes metrics for the submission and flow of staff actions through the RAMO MILSEC and J-8 Directorate; formulates metrics based on analytical ability and capacity of staff action Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) and Office of Collateral Responsibility (OCR).
- →Responsible for the security program analysis portfolio, ensuring processes are efficient and are in compliance and information, facilities and personnel are updated and changed as necessary to make improvements.
