About the Role

This vacancy is for a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce.

What You'll Do

  • As a Management and Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Analyze, and advise on all phases of the acquisition process.
  • Identify requirements, conduct market research, develop solicitation documents (PWS/SOW/SOO, IGCE, evaluations, Political Approval Justifications etc.), answer vendor questions, and evaluate proposals.
  • Contract administration, performance monitoring, inspecting and accepting deliverables, managing modifications, monitoring burn rates and funding, reviewing and approving invoices, addressing performance issues, maintaining COR files, documenting communications, coordinating contractor onboarding/offboarding, and supporting contract closeout.
  • Evaluate Information Technology acquisition progress against planned events and clearly brief senior leadership on the status, risks, and required actions.
  • This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Management and Program Analyst GS-0343-14, FPL GS-14 positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.
