Organizational Location: These positions are located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), in Arlington, Virginia; Vienna, Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →As a Management and Program Analyst, at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: Conduct analytical studies, research, and evaluations that improve how agency programs and operations perform.
- →Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to examine data, identify trends, and recommend solutions to management challenges.
- →Design and carry out studies, develop ways to measure program performance, and present findings through reports, briefings, and presentations.
- →Evaluate program results against established goals, verify compliance with policy, and recommend adjustments that make better use of staff, funding, and other resources.
- →Support planning and resource decisions and assess how new or proposed legislation could affect programs.
- →Develop initiatives to address management problems and improve program effectiveness.
- →Collaborate with colleagues and partner organizations across multiple offices to carry out studies and coordinate solutions.
- →Present recommendations to leadership, help develop standard operating procedures, and advise on putting new processes in place.
