This position is located in the Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Business Center (BC), Chief Financial Operations Office, Performance, Accountability, and Risk Division. The incumbent provides advice and support to management and program officials on the interpretation of regulations and guidelines and their application to problems.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts reviews and analyses of FPAC functions/programs ensuring operations conform to policies and regulations.
- →Participates in studies to analyze issues of effectiveness, efficiency, and risks affecting administrative and business programs and activities across FPAC.
- →Serves as an FPAC representative on oversight teams to support Department-wide initiatives.
- →Prepares materials for oversight and audits, for facilitating information exchanges such as detailed reports and viewgraphs depicting findings, and for addressing audit-related findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
Requirements
- ✓You must be a US Citizen or US National.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be Selective Service registered or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
- ✓If selected, you may be sent instructions on obtaining fingerprints.

- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period unless previous federal service is creditable.
