This position is in Department of Labor's (DOL's), Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Office of Policy Development and Research (OPDR).This position serves as a Management and Program Analyst and performs analytical and evaluative work related to the planning, development, administration, and improvement of substantive mission-oriented programs and operations.
What You'll Do
- →Conducts data analysis and evaluations of mission-oriented programs and operations to assess performance and accountability, identify issues and improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations for management.
- →Provides input on program objectives, policies, priorities, and plans; advises management on operational issues and requirements; and handles complex program activities while coordinating with staff and stakeholders.
- →Researches and develops policies, procedures, guidance, and implementation strategies; recommends improvements to program and management processes; and ensures consistency with statutory, regulatory, and departmental requirements.
- →Provides technical guidance to stakeholders, prepares analytical and briefing materials on program performance and status, and leads meetings and training to support implementation of program activities and requirements.
- →Leads or supports special projects, coordinates cross-organizational efforts, represents the organization in meetings, and works with officials and stakeholders to address complex or controversial issues.
