This position is located in the Office of Deployment for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Records Modernization - Integration Office (EHRM-IO), located within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA), where the incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst (Deployment).
What You'll Do
- →This is a bargaining unit eligible position.
- →Areas of Consideration: 1st - Facility-wide (EHRM-IO) 2nd - Agency and current permanent Federal employees 3rd - All other Status eligibles.
- →Some physical effort is required to lift and carry reference books, working papers and similar items to and from meetings.
- →A moderate amount of standing and walking is required getting to and from meeting places away from the work site.
- →The work does not require any special physical effort.
- →This position involves a multi-grade career ladder.
- →The major duties listed below represent the full performance level of GS-12.
- →At the GS-11 grade level, you will perform assignments of a more limited scope and with less independence.
- →You will progressively acquire the background necessary to perform at the full performance level of GS-12.
- →Promotion is at the discretion of the supervisor and is contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of higher level work, and availability of funds.
- →Promotion is not guaranteed and no promise of promotion is implied.
- →Major Duties: Conducts in-depth studies of data derived from EHRM-IO systems reporting and applies statistical methods and techniques directed toward operational improvements.
- →Analyze and interpret policies, audit recommendations, and inspection findings to resolve problems and improve effectiveness and/or efficiency of operations.
- →Present clear, concise, and well-structured briefings that address issues, desired outcomes when composing the material.
