The position is in the Talent Management staff team (TM), Office of Policy, Planning and Resources (R/PPR), Office of the Under Secretary for Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy , Department of State (DoS). The incumbent serves as Management Analyst and as an integral member of the TM team and as a liaison with the front office team and an authority in the daily management of office operations
What You'll Do
- →Applies organizational and management analysis concepts, principles and techniques in the planning, policy development, technical direction, staff oversight, execution and evaluation of various projects, programs and initiatives.
- →Develops policy and procedures, and program evaluation and oversees the implementation of assigned productivity improvement areas.
- →Serves as a principal advisor and authority to the TM Team Lead and other high - level office staff with responsibility for policies and procedural issues.
- →Reviews, analyzes, and interprets legislation, policies and objectives from the highest authorities into guidance for development of program operations.
- →Conducts specialized studies and projects as assigned and coordinates liaison activities between the office and counterparts in other offices, Bureau and agencies.
